Los Angeles County spends billions addressing the crisis on our streets. So why are 72,195 of our neighbors still sleeping on the concrete? Because the bureaucratic systems claiming to solve the crisis are the same systems that created the cracks people fall through.
We are Healing Los Angeles Together. Founded by residents who have survived the streets, overcome addiction, and navigated the reentry system, we do not just see the gaps in the safety net—we fell through them. Now, we are the ones filling them. Not with pity or traditional charity, but with power, dignity, and community-led action.
The system is broken. The community is not. Are you ready to build something that actually works?
“When the inflation hit, my pension wasn’t enough to cover rent and groceries. I was terrified of government forms and the shame of standing in a breadline. Healing Los Angeles Together didn’t ask for my papers or my ID. They handed me a bag of fresh food and asked my name. Three months later, I stopped coming to get food and started coming to hand it out. This isn’t a charity. This is my family.”

We coordinate; we do not compete. HLAT is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Father’s Table, LAHSA, and JCOD to ensure seamless, warm handoffs for every community member seeking stability.
Healing Los Angeles Together is a local NGO focused on community-led homeless services across LA County. We turn lived experience into life-saving action through food justice, SUD counseling, and immigration advocacy.
